Taking A Look At The Perfect Wheeled Duffel

Traveling the world requires a range of equipment, survival gear, clothing, backpacks, air luggage, camp and hiking and sport and snow and summer gear… It can seem never-ending and feel overwhelming. There are simply so many choices, from high end to low, and advanced to standard models push the level of options to an almost ridiculous level. Throughout my time writing travel for Eye & Pen, I’ve had the chance to feel overwhelmed by it all, and I’ve also had the opportunity to test and review all sorts of products that otherwise I might not have had the chance to try out. So, hopefully I’ve made the adventure of travel come to life, while limiting the headaches, the uncertainty and the fear prior to your own ventures abroad.

Today, I take a look at the Patagonia Black Hole Wheeled Duffel Bag… It’s a dynamic bag, styled to look hot and modern, while providing you with a strong and versatile luggage option, perfect for nearly all types of travel.

The Patagonia Black Hole Wheeled Duffel Bag is a 45L duffel bag literally attached to a strong back brace base with two heavy wheels and a stand. The heavy duty backing provides a firm skeleton for the bag, which offers the user a safe storage place while at the same time widening the audience capable of putting the bag to use – why? Because it’s on wheels!

The Black Hole Wheeled Duffel is a well-built luggage option, perfect for anyone who travels a lot or a little, no matter the physical condition of the user. The wheels roll smoothly and the bag is strong for hard and long use, and to be honest, I can’t find a single negative thing to say about it. Patagonia knocked one out of the park with this model.

Because if you’re going on an African safari, I’m guessing you will need a specific pair of sunglasses and lens polarity for the environment there. And the same is true if you travel to Scandinavia or Japan, or New Zealand. All around the world, there are different lights, and different environments. If you’re hiking the wildernes [...]

A Woman’s Perspective: Reviewing the Leyden Camera Bag by Aide De Camp

Most bags and gear for photographers are unisex, but the fine folks over at Aide De Camp specialize in marrying the perfect camera bag with the perfect purse. I don’t know about you, but when I first began shooting photography outdoors, I couldn’t find a suitable camera bag that fit all my needs. If I’m going to go from location to location and shoot senior photos or landscape shots, I’m not carrying my purse, AND my camera bag, because it’s simply too much w [...]
